What to Do at Night in Angeles City

Angeles City Nightlife

The throbbing and lively bar and nightclub scene is the reason many foreign visitors come to Angeles. Balibago is the main entertainment district, and the street that runs next to the former Clark Air Base, Fields Ave., is where the action is. There are some 100 bars along Fields Ave., and Don Juico Ave. alone. Most bars on the strip are hostess bars or old fashioned go-go bars.

In addition, there are a variety of nightlife establishments, including discos, live band clubs, resto pubs, and KTVs (video karaoke). While these venues are mostly patronized by Filipinos, visitors (and their money) are welcome in most any establishment.

A few of the more popular bars on Fields Ave. are: La Pasha, Cambodia, Camelot, Doll House, Fantasy, and many more.
Multi-story mega bars: Club Atlantis, Golden Nile, Forbidden City, Club Asia, and Crystal Palace.
Disco clubs: Skytraxx Disco, The Mansion (Friendship Hwy.), and the Hacienda Superclub (behind Pagcor Casino).

Note: For larger bars on Fields Ave. the bar fine is usually 1,500 pesos, but for small bars outside the main entertainment area, the fine is usually small, or no bar fine at all.
