Bohol excels in its sightseeing options but its nightlife is not a characteristic that would draw visitors to the island in the same way that Cebu might. Still, there are some appealing bars down on Alona beach that bring in a good crowd during the high season, mainly for chilled out, waterside drinks, reminiscent of Borocay. The island's resorts also feature some decent bars that are open to outsiders and these usually guarantee a well-shaken drink and some shaking live music.

Tagbilarn is as sleepy as it gets and venturing out here after dark won’t bring much in the way of excitement.
