White Beach - Station 2: How to decide...

White Beach – Station 2 is the epicentre of Boracay. The beach here is slightly narrower than in front of Station 1, yet remains wide enough to accommodate many guests. With plentiful dining, shopping, and nightlife entertainment scenes, Station 2 is the liveliest area on Boracay. It’s home to two famous Boracay’s venues: D’Mall (a large outdoor shopping mall) and D’Talipapa (the seafood market). It houses a large choice of mid-range resorts such as Boracay Beach Resort and Le Soleil de Boracay.

White Beach - Station 1: How to decide...

At a length of about four kilometres, White Beach is the longest coastal strip in Boracay. It is divided in 3 stations. Station 1 occupies the northern and widest side of the beach. It hosts Willy’s Rock – one of Boracay’s landmarks – and it’s home to a good choice of upscale resorts such as The Lind and The Strand. A few standalone restaurants and clubs are at hand for you to enjoy pleasant evenings.

White Beach - Station 3: How to decide...

Station 3 is the most tranquil part of White Beach, and the closest to the original state and spirit of Boracay Island. • Nature lovers

What’s Good:

  • Peaceful atmosphere
  • Beautiful natural surroundings

Should I book my hotel in Bulabog Beach?

Bulabog Beach: How to decide...

As for popularity, Bulabog is the second beach in Boracay. Situated on the east coast of the island, this 2.5-kilometre-long beach is the place to go from October to April if you are a wind or a kite surfer. The bay offers the perfect playground for these water sports whether you are beginner or already a confirmed practitioner. The atmosphere of Bulabog is rather serene, and seems far from White Beach – Station 2’s hustle and bustle, despite it being only a 10-minute walk away. Bulabog features nevertheless a good choice of bars and restaurants and, accommodation-wise, you’ll find here hotels and resorts from two- to five-star.

Who is it For:

  • People who look for a peaceful area
  • Wind and kite surfers
  • Honeymooners
  • Families

What’s Good:

  • Water sports
  • Good snorkelling

What’s Not So Good:

  • The cleanliness of the beach varies through the year

Should I book my hotel in Diniwid Beach?

Diniwid Beach: How to decide...

Located a five-minute walk north of White Beach – Station 1, on the west coast of Boracay, Diniwid offers a very quaint and quiet place to stay. This 200-metre-long strip of sand has been well preserved, and is far to be as developed as White Beach. Only a few hotels and resorts are at hand in the vicinity, and the most popular of them, Spider House Resort, is the hot spot of the area due to its cool bar with terrace that overlooks the turquoise waters of the bay. Great sundowner spot, Diniwid is also a pleasant beach to swim and snorkel.

Who is it For:

  • People who look for a peaceful area
  • Families
  • Honeymooners

What’s Good:

  • Tranquillity
  • Few crowds

What’s Not So Good:

  • Green seaweed at the end of high season (February to March)

  • People who look for a peaceful area
  • Honeymooners
  • Luxury travellers

What’s Good:

  • Serene and beautiful beaches
