White Beach

Philippines is symbolized by its exotic and picturesque beaches, of which the most famous and popular is the beautiful White Beach, located in the island of Borocay, 315 kilometers to the south of Manila. The best time for tourists to visit Borocay’s White Beach is from September to June, when the mercury count is not too high, and the island experiences cool winds from the northeast.

The white powdery sand, complimented well by the crystal clear sea water, is the perfect place for adventure seekers, as the island provides them with over 30 diving sites. Besides scuba diving and snorkeling, one can indulge himself/herself in sunbathing, which is a common practice in the beach. Enthusiastic travelers can hire hull boats or Paraw and experience the sea from a personal point of view. At different time of the year, races are organized so as to provide visitors with bit more frolic and excitement.
