Cebu City Shopping
Where to Shop in Metro Cebu
Cebu's best shopping can be found within the city's bustling malls. The most popular and the largest one, SM City Cebu mall, is located on Kaohsiung. Its two wings: north and south are packed with many surprising shops, dining options, and entertainment venues. For those who seek something a little more upscale and less chaotic, head to the Alaya Centre and you won’t be disappointed. Other malls are located all over the city, such as Robinson’s, Country Mall, e-Mall and Cebu Parkmall. More authentic and local commodities can be found at Carbon Market in downtown.
SM City Cebu
SM City Cebu is the biggest shopping mall in the city. The four-storey complex comprises a large department store, a supermarket, over 200 shops and restaurants, cinemas (including an IMAX theatre) and a fully computerized bowling center. Many people come here and buy electronic items such as mp3 player, digital camera, mobile phone and so on, due to its inexpensive price.

Ayala Centre Cebu
Ayala is a six-storey dorm and is slightly more up-market than SM City. Shoppers can expect some of international street-fashion bands like Armani Exchange, Guess, Lacoste, Esprit, and local popular labels. Other than that, the mall has two supermarkets, a modern department store, cinemas, health spas, restaurants and stores that appeal to tourists.
Mindanao Avenue and Bohol Street
Carbon Market
This local market has been operating for over 100 years. The Carbon offers all sorts of goods, ranging from fresh meat, vegetables, ingredients, clothing, to house décor and religious items. The market is relatively big, though you can hire a horse carriage to take you around. Also, there are food stalls and restaurants serving inexpensive local dishes until late afternoon.
