Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Featuring the world’s longest navigable underground river and one of the most impressive cave systems in the world, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is a popular attraction for its untouched natural beauty, endemic wildlife and spectacular rock formations.
Visitors to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park can take a boat tour to the 4-km mark of the underground river and discover the unique underground waterfalls and crystal-lined cave walls. It is also possible to explore the cave further, but this does require swimming as it’s too narrow for boats.
Highlights of Subterranean River National Park

Outside of the cave experience, tourists can also enjoy the sea-faring 20-minute boat ride to the cave and walk through the park itself amid the wildlife and nature. In order to the visit the cave you need to obtain the correct permits or alternatively you can book your visit via a professional tour company.
